A student has been locked out of Canvas after too many failed login attempts (we are currently bypassing and are not using a single sign on system). As an admin, how can I reset the login attempts so she can try again?
Note: at the admin level, I reset her password manually. It still tells her she has too many failed attempts. This has happened before, and will happen again. As an admin, can I actually DO anything to let her attempt again?

Hi @dpchristianson,
I tried taking a look around API documentation, and I don't see anything about resetting any kind of account lockout with the Canvas login type. I have a feeling this might be a build-in security thing that Instructure doesn't even let admins override. If this happens again, I'd recommend that you contact Canvas support to see if they have any additional access to reset the login attempts, or if it's hardcoded that the user must wait for a certain amount of time after too many invalid login attempts.
