Respond to Messages in the Canvas inbox via email

Whenever I receive a message via my canvas inbox I receive an email notifying me of the message. I would like to respond to the message through my email, but, when trying to do so, I am told, "To reply to Canvas messages from this email, it must first be a confirmed communication channel in your Canvas profile. Please visit your profile and resend the confirmation email for this email address.". How do I resend the confirmation email?

I just tested this, and it worked fine........
- Go to your account,
- Go to Settings,
- Click the plus sign (+) to add a new email address, and re-add your existing email;
- You will be asked to confirm your new email,
- A confirmation email will be sent to the address you added,
- Follow the link in the email to confirm,
- Delete the original email address in Canvas.

I would suggest talking with your school's Canvas Admin, or submitting a support ticket.
