Rubric criteria moving

I see that this has been asked numerous times before.  Why is there not a way to move criteria around to change the order in a CANVAS rubric??????

I'm not on the Product team and can't speak to their plans to implement or not implement changes to this, but I do know that we have a feature idea that suggests updating this functionality in Canvas. If you'd like to support the https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1130-editing-capabilities-for-rubrics idea, you can add your voice to it by voting and/or adding comments to the idea.

The order of criteria within a rubric can be adjusted using the browser Dev Tools.

In addition to the information that you have received from  @Naomi , there is also a "Canvancement" (Canvas Enhancement) that has been created by one of our fellow Community members,  @James ‌, called Sorting Rubrics Made Easy.  It is not part of the core Canvas product, but James' instructions and short video tutorials take you step-by-step through how you can implement this on your own so you can re-order the rows in your rubric.  I hope this will help, Jane.  Have a great day!  Be well, and stay safe.

I am constantly fiddling around with rubrics as assignments are refined and have to completely redo them because I can not simply click and drag criteria above or below the other criteria already inserted. Please change this! It would be so helpful!

I'm not sure if you saw my other reply (just above yours), but I'd suggest you check out the link I provided to James' "Canvancement".  I think you'll find that using his script that he's provided will be of great help to you.  (I know it has helped me in the past.)
