Scheduling a Zoom meeting

Is there a way to schedule a Zoom meeting with an individual student and not notify the entire class?  Better yet are there tutorials that go into this level of detail? (The ones I have found are pretty basic/general.)

If I have to have an individual meeting with someone, I would use your personal meeting room link and email it directly to the person. You can also create a separate Zoom meeting from the web version of Zoom at Zoom.us and give them that link directly.

If you use the Zoom LTI, that will notify every student in the class about the meeting.

When you say 'personal meeting room link', do you mean my personal email address to a zoom meeting? I should be able to schedule online meetings via zoom on CANVAS?

Every Zoom account has a personal meeting room link that either you have customized or came premade when your Zoom account was created to share with individual meetings. It's not your personal email address. If your Canvas Admin set up the LTI to schedule Zoom meetings inside Canvas, that is a question you need to ask them. They would know for sure. The Zoom integration inside Canvas does display a tab for your Personal Meeting Room link.
