Hello Community,
We have recently completed our migration from Blackboard Learn to Canvas. As part of this process, we need to archive our previous courses from Blackboard, including crucial student data such as enrollments, submissions, grades, and more.
Unfortunately, we are aware that Canvas migration only supports the transfer of course content, and does not include any student data. Given this challenge, we are seeking practical solutions that other institutions or organizations have successfully implemented in similar scenarios.
If anyone has experience or suggestions on how to effectively archive and retain student data (enrollments, grades, submissions) from Blackboard, please share your insights and strategies. We would greatly appreciate your valuable input on tools, processes, or best practices that have worked for you.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,

Thank you, @SwatiD, for asking this question.
Thank you, @mzimmerman, for providing a link to a similar question that was asked back in May 2024 that was answered by @JasonSimmons at K16.
