I just ran into an issues for my fall semester courses. SpeedGrader has always worked fine showing .sql files, which are plain text files. However this week they stopped rendering in speed grader. Thinking this is a file issue I had a student resubmit the file, same issue. All students that submit .sql files fail to render in speed grader. All I see is:
Thinking SpeedGrader was changed, I opened my last Springs course, which students had all submitted .sql files. Those files still show in speed grader just fine, why???
So I downloaded the past students file from speed grader, that clearly renders fine. Uploaded that file to my current course, as a test student, and it fails to render, just a file link now. Same file, two different courses, one works and one doesn't. WHY??? How do I fix, or what needs to be fixed???

Hi @screviston,
This seems like something that would need to be reported to Canvas Support because of newly uploaded SQL files not displaying.
Have you (or an admin at your institution) reported this to Canvas Support?

I have the same issue previewing .sql files starting Fall 2025. No issues previous semesters. Converting to a .txt is a quick solution, but then I have to convert back manually to test queries & database setup for multiple IT courses related to database management & analysis. Tried using both Chrome & Edge.
