The fact that Canvas pulls the percentage match for plagiarized material into the SpeedGrader and puts it in a convenient place right next to the file name is very helpful. However, I have not had a straightforward case of plagiarism in three years. All the cheating I have found is being done with AI these days. It would be extremely helpful if there were a second badge right next to the one currently there which displayed the AI percentage.
Currently in order to check AI I have to go into the TurnItIn reports and go through them one by one. This becomes even more difficult when I am only grading some of the total amount of things turned in and have to sort through which ones are mine and which ones are not. This is not a problem in the SpeedGrader since it is already sorted by my grading group.
Please consider this in the future. I wouldn't think this would be very difficult given the fact that it is already being done for the other result in TurnItIn.

@JonMeyer I think this is a great idea and would recommend submitting it as a feature idea. I know they've been working on updating the SpeedGrader recently and this seems like it would be a natural fit for that.

This sounds like a great idea and hopefully Canvas and Turnitin can work to make the upgraded SpeedGrader recognize both what we consider to be traditional plagiarism and AI originality so that there are less clicks for faculty.
Another aspect of this might be because of the two different supported ways that Canvas and Turnitin are connected with each other:
