I cannot exit student view in my courses. What is the problem??

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with exiting student view. You should be able to leave student view by looking in the bottom right corner of your screen. There are two options there and one is to leave student view. Try scrolling all the way to the bottom of your page or maximizing your browser window. Additionally, it may be the browser itself and we recommend that you clear the cache and cookies or try another browser altogether.
In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
