Student unable to see instructor's annotated feedback on their quizzes.

I posted a file upload question quiz on canvas. Students submitted their work with PDF files and I graded in Canvas app on ipad. I put annotation on their pdf file, however students won't be able to see my annotated feedback on their end.
If it's a file upload question assignment , students are able to see my annotated feedback on their end.
Does anyone know how to fix that problem?

To be upfront regarding the quiz annotations - it is unlikely your students will be able to see annotations when they upload a file to a quiz. There have been others also asking for this same thing:
The assignment (not quiz) has this option but regrettably Classic quizzes won't be developing this. There is the possibility of this getting added to New Quizzes as canvas is going to be implementing lots of improvements over the next few quarters. You can read more about that here:

Some teachers will split a quiz so that the file upload or essay questions are separate assignments and can receive annotations, plagiarism review, etc. That is certainly an option. If they have already done it, you'd need to take screenshots of your annotations and send them to the students unfortunately. It's not ideal, but hopefully this information is helpful.
