Students cannot see their grade totals, but the "Hide totals in student grades summary" is UNCHECKED

My students can see their grades, but not the total. They see this:

"Calculation of totals has been disabled"

But the box in setting labeled "Hide totals in student grades summary" is unchecked. 

Is there something I'm missing?

If you go to the Settings page, and uncheck the “Hide totals in student grade summary” option at the bottom of the screen, it should resolve the issues.

Hi @OzTheEngineer,

There are a couple places to check for this.  First, in your course settings there is the "Hide totals in student grades summary" option.  In addition to that, the gradebook itself has a couple related settings: under the gradebook settings -> view options tab, ensure "Hide Assignment Group Totals" and "Hide Total and Override Columns" are both unchecked.

Hopefully this gets the view for students fixed up!
