Supported file types for Preview in Pages/Discussion etc

I was trying to find a list of the supported file types. I found https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/What-types-of-files-can-be-previewed-in-Canvas/t... however, I wasn't sure if this list was accurate for inline / overlap preview within pages. I found that xlsx didn't preview (sat as a loading screen), xls did but doesn't look like a spreadsheet when in preview (don't see the grid lines etc).

Is there a documented list of supported file types?

Thank you for contacting Canvas Support. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with previewing files in Canvas. The document that you have is the current list although we understand your concern and question. In theory, the Excel sheets should be allowed to preview.
