Hello, and thanks in advance for any advice!
In creating a new demo course, I opted to use New Quizzes instead of Classic and then foolishly checked the "remember this selection" box. Unfortunately, New Quizzes do not work for my context (don't copy over correctly between courses) but it seems that I am stuck with them in my demo course. Is there a way to "un-remember" the type of quiz, so I can switch back to Classic? I have no idea where to look.
Thanks!

Hi!
You can reset your quiz engine choice from the Quiz Options menu at any time.
In your course navigation, click Quizzes. Then, click the three dots or options menu near the top-right of the screen. Here, you'll find the option to reset your quiz choice for the course.

Hi,
I have a follow-up question. Is there any way to migrate a quiz from new to classic? At my previous school district I wrote all my tests in new quizzes, but apparently there is no way to retrieve these from Commons. However, I can retrieve my classic quizzes from Commons. I guess a follow-up question to my follow-up is... is that correct that there is no way to import a new quiz from Commons, and if not, why not?
Any help or clarification you can provide is greatly appreciated.
I read somewhere in the documentation that it is impossible to migrate a New Quiz to Classic - they are completely different engines and processes, so you can't transfer content between them.
About sharing to Commons, this is an old thread that seems to have some answers.
I also need to return to Classic Quizzes, but the only choices I get are: Disable and Move. Please help.
@CHERILENTZ ...
I think you're going to need to have a discussion with your school's Canvas administrator to see what their plan was with Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes. Not every school that uses Canvas as their Learning Management System (LMS) has chosen to enable New Quizzes just yet. You can read more about the New Quizzes timeline (along with other documents) at these links:
Hope this helps a bit.
This solution does not work for me. I have clicked on the "Reset quiz engine choice" several times and it continues to create quizzes in the "new" quiz format instead of the classic quiz format. Is there something else that I can do to revert back to the classic quiz format?
