Switching from Student to teacher

For some reason my canvas profile has me as a student but I need to be switched to a teacher, please help!

Hi there, @KARAKING ...

Canvas user profiles are first "users" within your school's Canvas environment.  Then, you are assigned the role of a "student" or "teacher" at the course level.  I would recommend reaching out to your Canvas administrator at Garland Independent School District.  That person should be able to help you get your role(s) configured properly in your Canvas course(s).

As I had mentioned to @KARAKING, you will need to reach out to folks at your own school (such as your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning department).  We here in the Community wouldn't be able to help troubleshoot with how roles for users are set/configured at your school.  But, someone at your school who has administrative access to Canvas should be able to help answer your question(s).
