Test Student (Student View) for Turnitin Plagiarism Framework submit issues

Hello,

Recently we have has a few instructors and myself login as the Test Student and submit a paper to an assignment configured with the Turnitin Plagiarism Framework option

Historically this has worked and returned a Turnitin score and the link to the Similarity report. I have tried this now in various courses, all logged in as the Test Student and the submission hangs. It gives the error that the file is still being processed. It has been stuck in this state for +24 hours and does not look like it is going through

If I Masquerade as a student and submit the same file, it is proccesses immediately. It looks like something has changed with the way the Test Student is being processed. I've tried the test student in different courses as wll as reset the test student as well. All the same result of the submission hanging

Has anyone experienced this issue?

It is strange because this has worked for as long as we have been using Canvas and Turnitin.

On a recent assignment, at least 1/3 of my students' submissions were instructed to Resubmit to Turnitin Plagiarism Framework.

Hi @gncrum

Since Turnnitin is a third-party platform, even if it previously worked, "Test Student" might not work.

Have you reached out to Turnitin Support to find out if they still support the use of the "Test Student" with the Canvas Plagiarism Framework?
