I don’t think you are missing anything, to be honest. The Google Drive web service that you are looking for is something that would first need to be enabled by your school’s Canvas administrator or someone from your school’s Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department. It’s a setting that is on for all users in your Canvas environment account or no users at all in your Canvas environment. So, it’s quite possible that your school has not enabled this particular option…which is why you may not see it as an option on your screen. You would want to have a conversation with folks at your school who administrate your Canvas environment to see if they have enabled this or not. And, if not, would they be willing to enable it for you and for everyone else who uses Canvas at your school.
