Turnitin accepting *.c files

Is there a way for the Turnitin tool to also accept source code files (e.g. *.c for C programs)?

No, that's not possible.  TurnItIn provides a list of file formats that are allowed at https://help.turnitin.com/feedback-studio/turnitin-website/student/submitting-a-paper/file-requireme... 

You could have students submit the code as a text file, but TurnItIn is really designed to compare text and look for matches to other publications, not computer code.
