I am trying to embed a drag-and-drop activity into the page. I created a slide in PowerPoint with a math equation in the background. I want students to be able to drag the correct numbers into the equation. Advice on how to save the PowerPoint so the text boxes still move, OR if there is another, better option out there? I do not want to link it, as I want the students to stay in Canvas.
Hi @AndreaBivins ...
Do you know if your school has access or a subscription to H5P content? H5P appears to have drag and drop capabilities. I know that H5P can also be integrated into Canvas via LTI external tool, so you can create your H5P content on that website and then use the H5P LTI to basically embed that content into your Canvas course. Students would never leave your course...as the H5P content looks like it lives right within a content page you've created.
You might want to have a conversation with your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education team to see if they have anything like this available.
Good luck!
Hello,
Another tool you can use is Nearpod. If your institution allows for Nearpod integration, you can embed it in the RCE or give it as an assignment.
Nearpod is an interactive presentation tool with drag-and-drop capabilities and many other interactive tools (matching, drawing, etc.).
