Thanks for posting this in the Global Canvas Community!
I was able to take a look at your screenshots and I am also a bit confused on why your course is not showing up when you try to setup an appointment group. I am not totally sure what would be causing this to happen. It might be possible that your course role does not have the proper permissions enabled to set up appointments in the course.
Have you contacted Canvas support about this yet? It might be best to have them look into this and see if your role does not have the proper permission enabled for Course Calendar -Add / Edit / Delete. This is a permission for course roles that allows users to add, edit, and delete events in the course calendar. It also allows for users to create, and manage appointment on the calendar.
