Uploading assignment for student

I'm new to canvas (qlearn) and i was wondering if anyone can tell me how to upload an assignment on behalf of a student? We are transitioning to qlearn and i had 2 students unable to submit to qlearn but they emailed me their assessment. I want to import them to the platform so that all of my marking is in one location.

help please

There are instructions for submitting an assignment on behalf of a student at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-submit-an-assignment-on-behalf-of-a-stu... 

Please note that the "Submit on behalf of..." is a feature that must be specifically enabled in the school's Canvas instance.  If you do not see the option described in the article, you will want to contact Canvas Support at your school.

Hi @NeridaG 

Notwithstanding the 'act as' feature (which our institution won't use), one workaround is simply to load the document into the comments for the work - probably not a good idea to ask the student to load it there, as this would circumvent any submission deadlines etc. but you could keep it there as a matter of record.
