As a user, when I try to deploy deep links using either Module Index Menu Model or Assignment Index Menu placements, I'm getting redirected back to the canvas login screen.
We are performing form post to the deep_link_return_url, we are attaching JWT in the request payload. The strange behaviour is this works as expected on firefox but fails on chrome.
JWT seems to be correct as it is working as expected on firefox!!
can someone please help us here?
Hello @AbcAbcAbc
Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with the Module Index Menu. Thank you for providing the short recording. The redirect to Canvas login is interesting and even more so that it works on Firefox but not on Chrome. There is a high likelihood that this is an issue specific to Chrome. Have you combed through Chrome settings to see if there is any difference between the permissions? Check site settings and security tabs within Chrome's settings. Is there any type of firewall or block that would possibly not populate this as intended? Ensure that everything within Chrome is a go for anything Canvas related. If the JWT has been setup correctly and none of the browser troubleshooting resolves this, it could be an issue with redirecting due to authentication requirements, but that is a slim possibility considering it works on Firefox. Can you provide any more details regarding the JSON web token that you have setup?
