How do I submit a jpg file and post it already open into the Assignment area in my course?
Do I use the INSERT icon in the Assignment area? Is this download or upload?
Can I send the jpg file from myphotos.google.com?
There should also be an additional way to send an image from an Android Gallery jpg file and
post it into the Assignment area in my course?
Thank you for your guidance,
Monica Siegel
Hello @mSiegel7
Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with uploading images. You have a few options but the easiest one would be having the image downloaded directly to your device and then yes you would click Insert - image - upload image. Here is the Canvas guide:
There are alternatives as well like first uploading it to the "files" tab in your course. Then you would do a similar process of Insert - image - course image. If you want to use an image from an external website and not one saved from your computer, you can and you would need the embed code of the image. Honestly, just uploading it this way (insert - image) is much more user friendly. Hopefully this helps!
