We did not find the following correspondences

Hello all. I have been looking for similar requests on this error and did not find any. Hope this is the right place to put this. We´re trying to invite a new user from inside a course, but we keep on getting this error message: "We did not find the following correspondences", and it does not show the text box to insert the name of the new user, nothing. Even the error color is red instead of orange. 

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi @direccion apologies for the delay in replying to you.

I assume that by now you have resolved your challenge. If not, then I'm wondering if you had the correct email or SIS information for the student. Could that have been the case? 

Did you follow the steps in this guide when adding people

If you did and still have the same problem then it will pay to reach out to your institution's Canvas Support.

If they get stuck then Canvas Support may be able to assist.

Thanks. Yes, we were able to find the solution. It was far easy than thought. This error occurs when the EMAIL field is not checked before sending the invitation, that was all!! Silly me.
