As a building administrator, I need to be able to see all of a student's grades on a single screen; not each assignment grade, but the overall current letter or % grade. Having to click from course to course is time-consuming and clunky. In my help call, they suggested requesting this as feature and the link I was provided signed me out and won't let me directly into the suggested features page.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@CatherineKlasek - Rather than click from course to course, you could try acting as a student and then viewing all their grades from the Dashboard. It shows all the course grades on one page. This would at least this would give you all of one student's grades at a glance.
To request a feature or make a suggestion, you can submit an idea at: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Ideas/idb-p/canvas-ideas.

We're not able to view as student (only as our test student) even when following the steps provided. Our dashboards don't have the grades posted as in the example you shared. I would love both of those features.
Hi @CatherineKlasek - To act as a user, you do have to have an account-level user role with the permission titled, "Users - act as". Your institution's Canvas admin can log in, edit your user role, and set the permissions associated with it to give you the "Users - act as" permission. That would give you the ability to act as a user and then you can proceed from there. You may also need the permission titled, "Grades - view all grades." I hope this helps, but sounds like you should check in with your Canvas admin.
