Where can students go to view feedback on individual questions? NEW QUIZZES

Hi there!

My students worked on a quiz that I wanted them to redo and make corrections on. For individual questions, I used the "feedback" option below each question. However, I can't figure out where to send students to have them view the feedback. We've tried using the app, using the web, and none of the feedback appears. If I left them a comment on the right hand side of the speed grader, that does show up. 

Please tell me I didn't just waste all of that time!

I've shared a screenshot of the feedback that my students cannot find.

I tested this out in my own sandbox course where I took a short quiz that had an essay question as the "Test Student".  After I submitted the quiz, I went back to my admin/instructor role in the course, and then added a comment to that particular question.  Then, once I finished grading the New Quiz, I went back to the "Test Student" view, and I was able to view the instructor comments in two places:

• If I click on the quiz name, there is a "View Results" button.  I clicked on that button, and scrolled to the essay question, and I could see the instructor comments.
• If I click on the "Grades" course navigation button, I scrolled to the name of the New Quiz and clicked on it.  I could see the details of the New Quiz...including the instructor comments.

The view was similar to what is shown in the "View Feedback" section of this Guide:

Hello!

I followed your directions on a student iPad, and I've included a screenshot of what we saw. As you can see, my feedback isn't visible. I've also included a screenshot of what I typed for that student on Speed Grader. The feedback I put in the box to the right is visible. Anything I typed with the individual questions is not. This is across the board for all of my students. I have looked through Canvas Web and Canvas App, and those comments can't be found by students.

Have you tried viewing this from a desktop or laptop computer to see if you get different results?  I also tried viewing my sandbox course on my own iPad Air (4th gen).  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to replicate what you describe.  In the sandbox course, I went to "Student View", and I was able to see the feedback that I had typed in as an instructor.  So, I am not sure what the difference would be for you and your students.  I would recommend that you reach out to Canvas Support to see if they can help further.
