Why does Canvas not allow you to create a dropbox that doesn't appear in the gradebook? This feature is in every other LMS I've used. I often have students submit things for discussion in class. Now my gradebook is a cluttered mess.

Thank you for this reply. The way grading works in Canvas the student would apply the grade to an assignment and can submit in many ways one of them can be dropbox but that has to be added by the admins at your school so it is a submission type for file upload.
