I apologize you are having trouble copying and pasting comments. Based on how you have described this post, it sounds like there might be an issue with your clipboard or keyboard commands, if you are using hotkeys to copy and paste. You can sometimes clear the clipboard on your device in the device settings.
I have found that you can sometimes resolve issues such as this after clearing cache for "All Time." (Clearing cache on MAC and PC.)
I also wanted to add that if you are doing this in Speedgrader, you can actually use the Comment Library, which allows instructors to save and reuse commonly used text feedback in SpeedGrader for students. This might save you some time if you are finding yourself reusing certain comments for feedback. HERE is some documentation on that.
