Hi! I am a student recording final exams online. I have spent hours recording on Canvas' media recorder. After I record, I am stuck at the save or restart screen. My wifi is working, my connection is good, and everything should be working... but it will not save! I have restarted many times to no avail. My teacher is requiring that we use canvas to record for ease of grading (which I understand) but I can't seem to make it work.
What device are you working with? Also, are you using the app or the browser?

I'm sorry you're having trouble with that, that would be frustrating. I have only ever seen this happen in one of two scenarios:
After you record the video, you can right-click and select to save the video. Then, using a different network connection (ideally a wired one), you can try uploading again. You could also try in a different browser, clearing your cache and restarting your device.
If all else fails, you might consider uploading your video to Box, Drive or some other service with a note to your teacher about your tech woes.
