creating a new quiz - why won't the build function come up for me to use for adding questions to a quiz?

I'm trying to create a new quiz. I've looked through the directions for doing this and realized that the build function key won't come up for me to use after inputting the instructions, etc for a quiz. Why is this happening? Thanks for your help!

Are you sure that you have access to the New Quizzes interface?  The Classic Quizzes interface is much different than the New Quizzes interface.  Check out these two video tutorials to see the differences:

If you do not have access to the New Quizzes interface, then I'd recommend having a chat with your school's Canvas administrator to see what the plan is for making New Quizzes available to you and others at your school.
