grade report needing a change after Incomplete for a student in Marking period

How can I Change Grades in a Closed Grading Period Marking Period 1 when a student had an Incomplete and I need to change it WITHOUT changing the Marking period to include the current date. Too much can go wrong with it adding marking period 2? ANY OTHER WAY PLEASE? Sheldon from Airmont, NY

Hi @SheldonPerlysky,

It sounds like you're probably using a school/institution version of Canvas (not the free-for-teacher one).  In that case, I'd suggest reaching out to your Canvas team (usually in the eLearning / IT / Digital Education areas) as they'd likely be able to post the new grade for you using their admin access.  I don't know of another way to do that for a closed grading period.
