removing oneself from a course

Does anyone know if an instructor can remove themselves from a course on Canvas? If so, how?

Hi @Shraddha2,

From some quick testing, it does not appear to be possible to remove yourself from a course.

If you are looking to remove yourself from a course and you have the ability to add other teachers to the course, you could (1) add/invite a teacher to join the course and (2) ask them to remove you.  However, that teacher will not be in the same situation as you and they would not be able to remove themself either.

If you are looking to remove yourself from a course and you do not have the ability to add other teachers to the course or the steps above are not desired, you would need to consult with your Canvas team.
