wrong course material

Most of the time when I call up a course it brings up the material dated from the previous course (previous year). I have updated all the due dates and saved everything so it should bring up the newest content but it doesn't always do that. It will refresh after a few minutes to bring up the new content instead of the previous one but this is pretty annoying. It happened with the students this morning as well. Is there some setting that I might be missing or is this just a glitch?

Thanks for the screenshot, @BillPeterson.
I would like you to review two areas of Canvas:
- in the "Syllabus", the "Course Summary" area (consult the "View Course Summary" section of https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-use-the-Syllabus-as-an-instructor/ta-p/...)
- go to the course's "Home" area and click on the "View Calendar" link on the appears on the right-side
In either of those areas, do you see any dates for items/entries (for the Calendar, you may need to go back in time in a month-by-month fashion) that are in the past? If you do, you have dates inside of the course that still need to be adjusted (possibly because you did not save any previous changes).
Does that help?
