wrong course material

Most of the time when I call up a course it brings up the material dated from the previous course (previous year).  I have updated all the due dates and saved everything so it should bring up the newest content but it doesn't always do that.  It will refresh after a few minutes to bring up the new content instead of the previous one but this is pretty annoying.  It happened with the students this morning as well.  Is there some setting that I might be missing or is this just a glitch?

When this is happening in the Canvas course, what area of the course are you in?

Are you able to provide a screenshot?

I have attached a screenshot that shows what came up a couple minutes ago in the modules section for work to be done.  It won't allow students in because it is locked from previous year. Sometimes it does come up with the current settings.  If I refresh it many times or wait a while, it does revert to the current year.

I would like you to review two areas of Canvas:

1. in the "Syllabus", the "Course Summary" area (consult the "View Course Summary" section of https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-use-the-Syllabus-as-an-instructor/ta-p/...)
2. go to the course's "Home" area and click on the "View Calendar" link on the appears on the right-side

In either of those areas, do you see any dates for items/entries (for the Calendar, you may need to go back in time in a month-by-month fashion) that are in the past?  If you do, you have dates inside of the course that still need to be adjusted (possibly because you did not save any previous changes).
