Is there a way to export all my videos at once to something or must I download them individually?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @ANNIETUBBS ...
Unfortunately, within the Canvas Studio interface, I don't know of a way to mass download all videos you've created and/or uploaded in the past. (Note, you cannot download video in your library that were YouTube or Vimeo videos.) Sorry I don't have better news for you at this time.

Hi @ANNIETUBBS,
I do not have experience with this specifically but I believe that only way Canvas Studio might support the ability to mass download videos is if your institution is switching to a different video platform and decides that they want to migrate content. This is also probably something that your institution would have to pay for.
A few years ago my institution changed from Knowmia (made by TechSmith) to Canvas Studio and we had the ability to mass download videos for backup purposes.
Another possibility might be using the Canvas Studio API but that is quite complicated. The Canvas Studio API documentation can be found at https://developerdocs.instructure.com/services/studio/api-reference.

Hi there @ANNIETUBBS ,
In addition to the information that @dbrace and @Chris_Hofer provided you with, which is correct, I wanted to add on.
Unfortunately, there is no current feature within Studio that allows you to download all videos at once. However, I encourage you to submit this as a feature idea! You can learn more about submitting ideas here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructure-Community-Guide/How-do-I-create-a-new-idea-in-the-Ins...
Best,
Noah
