merge or split existing videos on canvas studio?

Let's say you have video1part 1.mp4 an video1part2.mp4 already uploaded to canvas studio. Is there a way to merge the 2 parts? 

Or for that matter, if you have a bigvideo.mp4, split them into videopart1.mp4 and videopart2.mp2 within the canvas itself? 

Alternative is to use video editor, but the compression seems to be different from zoom and results in much larger size videos. 

It will be perfect to just split or merge right in the studio. it appears there is a way to add but video file still has to be uploaded to be added, which mean with low bandwidth, it takes a while to just upload so I can merge the files.

To my knowledge, neither option that you've asked about are possible within Canvas Studio...or the Canvas RCE (Rich Content Editor) for that matter.  You cannot split a single video into two parts, and you cannot combine two separate videos into one file within Canvas Studio.  Those are not functions of Canvas Studio at all.  I am also not aware of any online tools that integrate into Canvas that would allow you do any of this.  (I could be totally wrong, though, and I'd be interested in learning from others if there was such a thing.)

I'll also add that if you wanted to see this kind of functionality in Canvas Studio, you could certainly create an Idea here in the Community for people to evaluate.  Here's a few documents for you to read over:

@SeanKim , you may want to look at the trim function in the Canvas Studio media editor. This could be a possible solution to splitting your big videos into two parts.

You can trim a Studio media file by selecting and removing material from the file at the beginning, end, or both.

After trimming your media, you can replace your original file with the trimmed version or you can save the trimmed media as a new file.
