At Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC), the Ed Tech Academy is a key initiative designed to improve faculty development and online student success. This yearlong program helps instructors enhance their course design, engagement strategies, and inclusive practices using tools like DesignPLUS, Canvas Analytics and technology tools. Faculty review institutional course design guidelines and essential LMS requirements to identify areas for improvement in their courses, focusing on course layout, technology use, interaction strategies, and assessment methods. With structured coaching, training, and peer collaboration, the academy fosters a culture of continuous quality improvement.
