The University of Cincinnati Online has recently made the switch to using a CRM, Salesforce, to help our Instruction Team manage and track the work we do across 10 colleges in Canvas. The transition to using Salesforce has allowed for better work tracking, more efficiencies, cross-functional collaboration, and greater data reporting with key external and internal partners across the university.

In this workshop we’ll share the journey of Northeastern University’s adoption of Canvas Credentials Pathways, highlighting the key factors that prompted our decision.

This session will showcase how Chesterfield County Public Schools leveraged Canvas to create an innovative, in-house solution for asynchronous credit recovery, reducing costs while expanding opportunities for at-risk seniors. The PACE program, utilizing vetted Virginia Department of Education content, offers two types of recovery courses: one for students repeating a course and one for first-time takers.

During the session, the presenters will share live samples from the course modules. Presenters will share lessons learned and share feedback from administrators and staff that will be used to make revisions for year two.

Participants will learn basic to advanced principles of how to record and edit videos, as well as how to create custom and interesting video thumbnails, cut and trim recordings, add annotations, and access advanced editing tools within Canvas Studio.
