I have created test item banks when creating quiz questions and shared them on Commons. Others who have imported the modules into their course cannot see the images. Please help!
Hi @134736
When you say Item Banks are you referring to banks associated with New Quizzes? New Quizzes aren't slated to be compatible with Commons until some time in 2024Q3 it looks like.
If you shared a Classis Quiz to Commons and those that download it are not able to see the images, they should check that the images are in their course files and that they are published. That really shouldn't be the case though so I would advise either yourself or someone who has attempted to use one of your quizzes reach out to Canvas Support.
Take a look at where the image is saved. Images can go to User Files or Course Files.
I've started to save all images for new quizzes in "user files" and students are able to see them. This allowed the image to appear while using Lockdown Browser with new quizzes as well.
Thanks @cdunn4 for sharing this workaround. I hope that the visibility of images is improved so that we don't have to rely on personal user files to ensure visibility. That makes me wonder about storage quotas and how things are counted for users and courses.
