Thanks for the updates. However, I'm still confused about a few things. Here's what's been happening: I used to make user accounts manually or by using an import process. Lately, there have been problems with the passwords that I created manually. When I changed or created passwords for students, they had trouble logging in. Even after resetting the password, when they tried to log in from home, it still didn't work. The Canvas team fixed this problem by stopping admins from setting passwords. Now, when I create users, I can't find the section where I can set a password anymore.
I need this provision back because my students, especially the young ones, don't have access to email. We need to update and support them regularly. Is there a way we can find where this change was made or applied?
