Can/how is one able to upload test/quiz questions?

T/Q format needed?

How does one make a test bank of questions so random questions can be drawn for a test?

Hi professorplumb Welcome to the Canvas Community.

It is a challenge moving from one LMS to another, there will be things you will miss and hopefully things you find are better. I'm not to sure if you are a student or instructor but will take a guess that you are an instructor. If I've got that wrong please let me know.

To upload questions into Canvas follow the steps below.

How to upload tests into Canvas

1. Log in to your Canvas account. The Dashboard page appears.
2. Select the desired course name. The Course Home page appears.
3. From the left toolbar, click Settings. Course Details appears.
4. From the right toolbar, click Import Content into this Course. The Import Content page appears.
5. From the Content Type drop down, select Blackboard 6/7/8/9 export .zip file. More import options appear.
6. Click Browse. Navigate to where you saved the ExamView test export and click Open.
7. Select All Content from the Content option.
8. Click Import. The import will process and the test will now appear in Quizzes.

How to upload question banks into Canvas

1. Log in to your Canvas account. The Dashboard page appears.
2. Select the desired course name. The Course Home page appears.
3. From the left toolbar, click Settings. Course Details appears.
4. From the right toolbar, click Import Content into this Course. The Import Content page appears.
5. From the Content Type drop down, select Blackboard 6/7/8/9 export .zip file. More import options appear.

User Badges in the Canvas Community are peer-to-peer badges in the community. There are currently 4 different types of user badges.

• Congratulations: Did someone just level-up? Advance to a new role icon? Acknowledge their achievement with a Congratulations badge.
• Nice Work: When you want to recognize someone's effort or contribution (blog post, comment, answer, idea, etc.) in the community.
• Thank You: When someone's done something nice and you just want to appreciate him/her.
• Welcome: See a new member lurking about? Send them a welcome badge and comforting message.
