How to I stop student notifications coming to my email?

I keep getting responses to course content from other  students in my email.How to I cease these notifications please?

You can manage all of your notification settings within your Canvas profile and user settings, as described in this guide: How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as a student?  Let us know if you have any other questions.

Notifications are typically set at the user account level...no matter if you are a student or an instructor.  You cannot configure notifications for other users within your school's Canvas environment.

Also, you can configure notifications at the course level.  So, if you want to receive some notifications for courses but not for other courses, you can do that, too.

in the student notifications, which one blocks outgoing notifications for ZOOM?

Hello again, @fac_arai ...

It sounds like your school may have Zoom integrated with Canvas.  Is this correct?  Meaning, do you have a "Zoom" course navigation button within any of your Canvas courses?  If so, you might need to reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator...as this person may have been the one to set up the integration between Canvas and Zoom.  I do know that there are some Zoom settings that can be turned on/off which send out notifications about Zoom meetings that are created, edited, or deleted.  I am fairly confident that those notifications are sent via the Canvas Inbox.  And, if your Canvas admin has configured this, too, any Zoom meetings can be added/edited/deleted on the Canvas Calendar.  All this is to say that I don't believe there are notifications specific to Zoom within the Canvas "Notifications" screen...as those settings are handled in another way...more at a global school level rather than per instructor at your school.  So, again, I'd recommend having a conversation with someone at your school who might know more about how the Zoom integration was set up for your Canvas environment.  I hope this will help...thanks!
