Has anyone had difficulty getting the 3 dots on the module page to work? I'm trying to edit and delete some of the pages. I can usually do this by clicking the 3 dots, but they don't always work. Any ideas?

Hello @thall14
Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with using the three dots in Canvas. It is likely your internet browser and we recommend clearing the cache and cookies or trying another browser.
In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
If that doesn't work, have you tried another browser, device, or even wifi? If they still aren't working as intended, you should speak with canvas support.
Because of the complexity of the issue, and the concerns for privacy, it would be best if you contacted Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution:

Hello everyone...
I was recently made aware that Instructure is aware of the issue, and it looks like they are planning to deploy a fix for this on October 12, 2022 ... per this document:
3 Dots / "Kabob" on Modules and Assignments index ... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
...so, please hang on just for just a few more days, and hopefully things should be resolved on the 12th.
I'm also having this issue on multiple devices and in both Chrome and Edge. Have tried re-installing the browser and problem remains. (Seems to be working ok in Firefox at the moment).
This problem seemed to start on Thursday. I tried those steps and no had change using Chrome. I opened on Safari and it seems to work ok, but I would prefer to work in Chrome... Is this an update issue?

Clearing the cache and cookies got it to work for a very short while and the three dots stopped working again after a few usual operations like moving between different sections. Chicking on the three dots under different sections does nothing. Totally unresponsive. I can't figure out what's causing this problem.
I'm using Chrome on Windows 7.
A restart also fixes the problem, but only temporarily.
I am also having this same issue and have resulted to use another device, but still it only works temporarily hence, it is clearly a bug in the software that needs to be resolved as it is causing issues when copying modules and editing labels and external links that are not via an assignment also trying to duplicate assignments on a module.
Please can this bug in the software be looked at as an alternative to the clear browser data solution as this clearly does not work long term.
This issue continues in all browsers.
However, a workaround appears to be refreshing the page with Shift+F5.
Refreshing doesn't work for me. 😣
By the way, technical support from Instructure on this seems to be next to non-existent. So frustrating!
In our district, we have a few teachers who are experiencing this issue still. Using a different browser is not a solution, since our teachers are using Chromebooks.
Clearing the cache has not worked to resolve the issue.
In addition, level 1 Canvas support seems completely unaware that this is a known issue (even though the "fix" posted here instructs people to contact Canvas support). We need a true fix for this situation!
I have read through and tried all of this. Three dots are not working in chrome. No matter what I do. It works in firefox however this is not convenient and doesn't seem like a real solution to the issue. Canvas....can you address this as your solution, clearing cache and cookies does not solve the issue.
Several teachers in my district were able to fix this issue by disabling all of their Chrome extensions.
We are still investigating to see which extension was the culprit, but at least this is a workaround for now.
I don't think extensions are the problem here. I'm getting this error still and have not added any new extensions. Many of my teachers are still seeing it and have also not added any extensions. This needs to be addressed. We're going on three weeks with barely an acknowledgement from Instructure that the problem exists.

I am currently experiencing the same thing across multiple computers being unable to click on the three dots unless I activate them using developer tools in Chrome
