Assignment submitted error

I’m having trouble submitting my work every time I write my assignments in the text box has to be 500 words and go to submit it, it tells me your submission failed but if I erase the whole assignment and just type that the assignment is finished and hit submit it then submits.

Hmmm. When you say it has to be 500 words, do you mean your answer has to be at least 500 words or no more than 500 words?

How many words are in your original submission?

My assignment has to be at least 500 words. But when I try to submit it, it reads submitted failed and if I erase everything and only type assignment finished it submit . It only for my history class my other classes are fine.

In that case, you might talk with your teacher to find out if they have seen this before. Canvas added a word limit feature, but I'm not sure if it is still active or my district has not turned the feature on as I do not see it as an option on my end. I've never used it.

Your screenshots shows that you received an email when it failed. Does the email say why it failed? At the spot where the text entry occurs on the assignment, does it give you any indicators of a word limit or is that something in the instructions?

It’s says in our instructions about how much of words we have to use. nothing in the text box and I didn’t receive any emails about the error.

Ahhh. That notification in the bottom right of the screenshot looks similar to my computer notifies me of emails.

Definitely talk with your teacher. I suspect you might not be the only person experiencing this. If anything, maybe you can email them your submission, along with this screenshot, to show them that you are trying and it is failing.
