Hi!
I would like to be able to embed short, non-instructional, decorative video clips on some pages. We are using clips from Adobe instead of static images as decoration. However, when uploaded to Kaltura and then embedded, a user has to click play. I don't want that; I want the video to autoplay. I have put &autoplay=1 in so many locations in the code, and I can't seem to figure out how to make this work. There isn't an autoplay setting (shame). Any help with what I can do to autoplay embedded Kaltura media?

Hi @WalULXD,
There are autoplay settings for Kaltura video players, but they are in what Kaltura calls the "player studio" which is on the administrative side of things. Basically, your Kaltura admin would need to create a player with autoplay enabled and you'd need ot use that for your video embeds. Doing this on a per-user basis is very tricky, and may be almost impossible, so your Kaltura admin may not be willing to go down that road at all. I'll also note that even if you had a player with autoplay confugured, many browsers will block that functionality due to obnoxious ads and websites that have taken advantage of autoplay for years to the detriment of most users...
I hope this info helps!
