If you go to People in your Canvas Course, you will see a column that says SIS ID. This is an SIS ID within Canvas, not whatever SIS system (we use PowerSchool) that your district employs. It may not be what you are looking for to set up Grade Passback Syncing. If you are having an issue with Syncing, you may want to speak with whomever manages Canvas for your district. From issues we had a few years ago, grade sync requires them to set up SIS Integration. The following link is an overview page for teachers with links to other guides too. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/PowerSchool-and-Canvas/Instructor-FAQ-Canvas-and-PowerTeacher-Gra...

Here is a FAQ about it for Admins: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/PowerSchool-and-Canvas/Admin-FAQ-Canvas-and-PowerSchool/ta-p/4256...

If you use Skyward, have you seen this overview: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/SIS-User-Articles/FAQ-Canvas-and-Skyward/ta-p/261952
I am not familiar with Skyward, so will not be able to help beyond that.
