Hello
We changed 2 of our sub-accounts to use Elementary for our Primary students and prior to the change, teachers could apply nicknames to their courses (eg their Sandbox).
Since we have applied Elementary, I can not find a way that teachers can revert the name of the course to its original name. Is there a way that this can be done without turning Elementary off? Have I missed something?
Thanks.

Depending on how long ago the teachers made the change, but Canvas Admins may be able to look at your Beta (or if you have a test) instance to see what the course was previously named.
Thanks for your reply. I am an admin and it's not about what it was previously called, but turning the Nicknaming off in Elementary. I dont even know if this is possible. When impersonating the teacher I cant make changes, nor can I when using her login directly.
Hi @allison88 ,
I am a little confused by your question because in my experience it is easier to change the name in C4E than in Classic Canvas. But it is called "Friendly Name" instead of nickname and is located on the Settings->Course Details page. Perhaps that is what is causing the confusion?
Here is the guide for changing the course settings, including assigning a Friendly Name to the course:
