Changing Setting So Students Can Edit Their Own Post

Hello, 

I wanted to change the setting so that students can edit their own post. I followed the instructions, yet, when I click "save settings," a circle with a line across it pops up and the "edit and delete their own replies" is not saved. Can you please advise?

Hi @EmilyHorton,

That's definitely unusual behavior.  I wonder if your school/institution Canvas team (usually in the eLearning / IT / Digital Education areas) has some customizations in place to prevent you from changing the settings.  If possible, I'd suggest contacting that team to see if this is something they customized intentionally.
