The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December.

Hello fellow Canvas-ers,
I'm an Account Admin at our institution and for some reason, I can no longer change and save Course Settings.
I often update terms or file storage size in current and old courses, but if I change them now, I can't save the change.
If this an update that I'm not aware of and I'm missing the way to now do this?

Thanks for the responses - I got to the bottom of it.
There was something wrong with a CSS file in our theme that was preventing the button appearing (weird that this is a thing that can be removed).
CSS file repaired and all is right with the world again.

I recommend contacting Canvas Support. Have you also tried using a different browser to see if the issue can be replicated?
Have you tried the customer representative at the canvas? Im sure they can help, their customer support is very good.
