Display name change

So last year I was very confused and changed my display name to something I was comfortable with last year but I realize this year that I was wrong and re transitioned back how do I change my display name to my real name?

I'm also having issues with changing the display name, but I don't have the ability to change my name in "edit profile," I believe my school has it blocked or something because I can't change my bio either.

It sounds like you're going to need to have a conversation with folks at your school about changing information in your Canvas profile.  They may have some things in place that do not allow you to change this information on your own.  Reach out to someone at your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department ... or a Canvas Administrator at your school, and they should be able to help you.  Good luck!
