Exporting Classes Taught data from Canvas to Elsevier/Interfolio Faculty180 (FAR)

Is anyone else exporting data to Faculty 180, from Canvas?  I need to update our Classes Taught in F180, which can be bulk uploaded, but I need to extract the course name, sis id and all Teachers for courses in a given term.

I wanted to check before I head down that rabbit-hole to see if anyone had anything to share.

Hi @ashley_hardesty,

While you could probably get that data form Canvas, I think it's far more common to extract that from your student information system (SIS) than it is from an LMS like Canvas.  Our campus does use Interfolio/Faculty180 and the feed information comes from our SIS, Banner.  I'd also recommend reaching out to Interfolio if you need help with this, as they have quite a bit of experience linking the correct systems together to make their work optimally.

Typically, I would go to my SIS first, but in this case, our SIS only records up to 2 Instructors per course, whereas some of our courses may have 4 or more instructors.

I think I've retrieved the data I need via API calls.
