Faster Grading

I am new to Canvas, having used Blackboard for 20 years. How do I see a log of ALL assignments that need grading? Blackboard literally had a tab called "Needs Grading." Currently, I am scrolling through every assignment and clicking speed grader. This wastes time, because in speed grader, I also have to click past items that have been graded to get to those that need my attention. There's got to be a better way. Help!

I always use the Teacher To-Do List, which I access from my Home Page of each course. This list works fine for me. I can see which assignments I need to grade, and how many ungraded submissions there are.  You can also see your "global" To-Do List on your Dashboard.

Once you are in Speedgrader, click on the Gear icon in the upper left hand corner. Then, click Options in the dropdown menu. Then you can easily sort the submissions so that you are only looking at the ones that still need to be graded.

The information that @SusanNiemeyer is spot on, the to-do list is going to be where you want to look to find submissions that need grading. Their advice for sorting submissions in Speedgrader is also excellent.
