Have had zero issues installing GradeCam Helper extension and using the GradeCam at our school. However, I have one laptop that is giving a error that says:
"Could not connect to Default Camera: OvercontrainedError -"
In the extension install page it works fine but when teacher pulls up an assessment and tries to use GradeCam it doesn't work.
Have rebooted. Have uninstalled and reinstalled extension.
Apple Macbook Pro. Chrome Browser.

Hello @MichaelE1
Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with GradeCam. Thank you for providing the screenshot up front. If it works on all computers but one, it is very likely isolated to that device specifically. If uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix it, you may need to speak with your school IT help desk or Mastery Connect as "GradeCam" isn't a built in feature on Canvas specifically. You can open a ticket with Mastery Connect and they can look into the specifics of the issue - but again, it sounds like an issue with the computer and not GradeCam or Mastery Connect. You could also try installing it on another browser or clearing the cache and cookies.
In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
